Just read about DA's wallpaper policy, I wasn't aware you can't use anything but your own pictures.. It's obvious, now that I think of it, that using pictures on which you don't own the copyrights to is forbidden, but.. Bah. It's not like I'm getting any money or benefit in any way of doing them..

Yes, I'm aware of the fact I'm not really in a position that'd give me the right to bitch about it. Even if I feel that fans should have the right to do wallpapers with official pictures, since it's not really hurting the people that own the rights to the pictures, I understand that there are laws concerning the use of the pictures and that DA has the right to deny wallpapers that have been made using such pictures.

Because of this, I'm removing my wallpapers from DA.


...though I think I'll upload them on my own server space later. That way it's my personal risk, in case some copyright owner really thinks it's worth the trouble to sue me for copyright violation or something.. O.o
